Yelk, Mary C. age 48, of Brooklyn Park passed away Sept. 24, 2006. Preceded in death by father, John Komarek. Survived by son, Roger; mother, Lillian and step dad, Stephen Fabian; sister, Linda Komarek-Busch; brother, John (Linda Smith) Komarek; 15 nieces and nephews; grandmother, Agnes Gossner; aunts, uncles, and special friend, Bill. Member of the National Ski Patrol, Ramsey Co. Sheriffs Aux., American Dental Hygiene Assoc., and active in cancer support groups. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, 10:30 am at the Church of St. Alphonsus, 7025 Halifax Ave. North, Brooklyn Center. Interment Lakewood Cem. Visitation Wednesday, 5-8pm at Gearty-Delmore Robbinsdale Chapel, 39th and W. Broadway and ½ hour before the Mass at the church. Memorials preferred to Tamarisk (volunteer home care support).
