Eastman, Jacklyn Sue Age 65 of Edina. Born 4/1/58 and passed peacefully on 5/29/23 from cancer. Preceded in death by parents Don and Marilyn Olson, brother Reed and brother-in-law Keith. She is survived by her loving husband of almost 43 years Eric, sons Steven (Ashley) and Dylan (Nikkole), daughter Taylor (Greg) Ytterbo, grandchildren Payton, Cooper, Finley, Reese, Eli, Hudson, Maysen, Casey and Knox, brother Ricky (Debbie), sister-in-law Cindy, sister Kathy (George) Williams, and many nieces and nephews. She was a graduate of Edina West class of 1976 and Gustavus class of 1980. She was a great friend to many and was everybody's cheerleader her entire life. She made time for everyone and nothing made her happier than time with family. She was an incredible wife, mom, and Nana to her grandkids. Her faith in Jesus was central to everything she did in life-serving in Bible Study Fellowship, blogging and sharing with others about the goodness of God. Even though our loss is great, we find comfort that she is fully restored in heaven, hearing the words "well done my good and faithful servant." Special thanks to Dr. Bryan Trottier and also the entire staff at NC Little Hospice, especially Alexis, Riley, Martha, Bob and Rich. Memorial service to be held at Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church at 11:00 am on June 9th with reception to follow. Memorials preferred to Cathedral of the Pines Camp.
